@weqrgyearhywq Ha you are the ONLY person to get that one. It's really a system for fun, not for hard-core bettors. But it does come up with some huge scores. Thanks for the comment.
this is the most commonly played system out there, and you wont find good odds, with the jockey/trainer combo....... by the way i bought denny nash's book bet to win, it is a nice tweak on the old system, but a slow way to win...hard to be so patient...but its a very good read, and lots of good incouragement....
It's the combination when the 2 get together. The racing form gives you 2 stats. One for the current meet and the other for the current year. Very powerful information.
I would use the current meet to confirm your play. The combo could be 25%+ on the year, but having a cold spell at the current meet. Use the current meet to confirm your play. If it's good that's a solid confirmation - if it;s less than 10% with a more than 10 starts...you would probably want to skip that play.
Thanks for your comment. Your point #1 is well-taken but personally I've hit 2-3 $100 turf horses using only this method. One last year at Delaware where a low-percent, washed up jock was first time on a mount but had a huge win percent with the trainer. They pulled it off again. Those are the ones to keep an eye on.
Thanks for the video. It was very nice. I have a couple of questions: 1)What do you do if you have two horses in the same race that qualify? Do you have a tie-breaking system or do you pass? 2)Does the 15 race minimum apply to the year-to-date record or can the winning percentage also be taken from just the track they're competing at? I will appreciate your response. Thanks in advance.
The win rate is between 25 and 29%. (As you will never play a combination averaging lower than 25%!) Best play depends on the odds. Anything 4-1 and less play win only. 4.5 - 10-1 W/P and anything over 11-1 play across. $2, $4 $8 should work out ok!
$2.00 is a break even bet (a win bet costs $2.00 so if you get $2.00 back you're even). Now, if you make $2.78 back for every $2.00 you wager on average, you are PLUS .78 cents. .78 is 39% profit for every $2.00 you wager.
.78 x 100 divided by 2.00 = 39%. That's your return on investment. Again, that means for every $2.00 you wager you profit .78 or 39% profit on average.
The Jockey/Trainer system has been around a long long time. That's the reason the DRF publishes it. Up until recently that information was almost impossible to get. As for ROI, again the DRF gives you that information. At 1:03 in the video you'll see ROI posted for this Jockey/Trainer combo. It's 2.78 or PLUS 39%. The idea is to bet on only J/T with positive ROI. It's all there in the DRF for you too see. Thanks for the excellent question!
Hey guys...my first video. Sorry the about the grainy quality. I'm trying to get it figured out. Anyway I hope you like the system. It's particularly useful for those new to the sport.
Love the tune. Liquid Tension Experiment...cool.
This system has a good base but needs to be tested for a few things like 1st time starters, coming off a claim, layoffs, different odds, etc.
Thanks for the post.

Any idea if this would work for Quaterhorses? Los Alamitos is only 15 minutes away.
snakeplisskn 2 years ago
We've not tried it - I'm not sure if Los Al gives that info. in the DRF or elsewhere.

Ok, so it's not a perfect science, but thanks for giving a suitable direction. And besides, there will be enough plays that just fall into it, right?
Many thanks. BTW, if you can fig out a way to make a computer program for this, why not?

Is this the total percentage combo of J-T, or a percentage of their win rate when hooking up?
VinDcator 2 years ago
It's the combination when the 2 get together. The racing form gives you 2 stats. One for the current meet and the other for the current year. Very powerful information.
jcpubs 2 years ago
Would you then recommend playing off either the meet or current year?

A couple observations...
1) Jockey/Trainer % that are that high
usually lead you to the favorite anyway.
2) Most maiden races contain more than
one horse with 9 or more workouts

It would be great to have narration and close ups of the key information in this video. Just an idea to help get the message across. :)

What Is The Win Rate Of This System. Would it be best to play it $2 win $4 Place $8 Show?

2.78 or PLUS 39%. I see the 2.78 but where do you find the plus 39 percent? What does that mean?

Thanx, it all makes sense. I've already seen a few races where this systems works!

How long have you had this system? What is it's ROI?
