a friend of mine stepped over a log as you did near the beginning of the vid and a huge diamond back struck him in the nads right when one foot was on either side of the log. no one would suck the venom out . the aftermath was very bad as you can imagine.
I never would have thought I'd be able to be supported by that frame and tent like that, very ingenious. I have to say though, I don't know if I really like that improvised paddle very much since it looks pretty flimsy. A better way might be stretching an extra shirt, sock, or underwear over a fork at the end of a branch.
fantstic video, only thing i disliked was seeing you baton with a foldable knife. most of those knives will break in the "mechanic" when you baton with em. but other than that i learned ALOOOT from this video, Thanks so much Jack - youre the man :)
a natural forked branch wrapped with duck tape works fine in a pinch. See my video. skip the intro it's boring.
