Why does everyone think Jannette wrote this song? It's been out for five years and the origional artist that sang it was Ananda Stott. Then it was covered by Bryan Rice in 2006 and then some next guy AND THEN Jannette.

I like this version of the song, although I do prefer Amanda Stott's version more. I think that all three versions have there merits though. Also, orionseesall76 is completely correct. Artists cover other artists songs all the time, it's not stealing. Recording artists have to get all sorts of permission etc. to be able to cover songs.

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Does anyone really know there music anymore? There are so many songs out there that are re-makes, remixes, whatever. I'm certain both Bryan & Jennette cite the original writer of this song on their albums. Nobody stole anything. They requested or were asked to cover the song and thus the new version is born.

I personally give them all credit for there performances. They are all equally good in their own right.
