He knows he doesn't have to. He does it because he can. Take action and tell your local government to have them make it illegal to have that many billboards along the road. I remember my first and only time to BC; I couldn't believe the number of signs along BC's roads. It is sad that such a beautiful place is littered with that. Hope it changes soon!
You have to realize that the decision is not made by Jim Pattison himself....the sign industry is a fraction of is holdings and it has over a 1000 employees. ... Oh ya....you should blame the urbanisme...not the sign company!!!
jimmy made his fortune on the backs of others. he is a worm. former premier glenn clark works for him. ghw bush and he are great friends. glenn sold bc fast ferries to washington group for a fraction of what they were worth!! he owns a huge porn empire, yet says he is reborn. the guy is pure unadulterated scum. frank sinatra is rolling in his grave!! wanna make a diff? boycott the pattison group!
Wait a minute, is it the billboards he is bitching about or the smoke that hides the mountains? The billboards were hiding the .......smoke BTW.
I agree the spacing of the billboards was unusually close, yet you might clap that you have business and people are eating. Some parts of the world don't have jobs or billboards.
who made you spokesperson for the environment, blocking scenery, littering and your non stop negative blabber. money is where it's at. fuck the environment
Blame the land owner for selling the billboard space. Not the people for buying it. idiot.

Actually I think its the Indian Reserve that owns the land that is more to blame. Look it up.
