i saw one on the motorway the other day doing 80mph. i had to laugh at the biddy little pop up spoiler. haha. you got your 'spoiler' there ? chumpass. you look like dicks.
No no no! Not the PDK! Gear shifts shouldn't be handled by a switch unless you're driving a Playstation or an F1 car. If I were in the market for a Cayman (which is one of my 10-year life goals) I would go for the manual, and the manual only.
@Ricerboy21 they like its brakes, precise steering, handling etc, but tim schrick finds it a little too conservative/safe, meaning it has some tendency to understeer and could be a little sharper in the corners. he still seems to like it though overall, as he doesnt complain too much ^^
ok i kinda take it back... a new caymans in aus is 150k... i managed to find a 997 carrera thats done 80'000kms for that price, otherwise you can easily get a low kms 996...
Porsche lets build only a part of the Boxster/Cayman production build in Finnland. Valmet has build some 109.000 of the 224,500 Boxster/Cayman build till today. The largest part is still produced in Stuttgart. The contract with Valmet ends 2008 but they have a option to let it run till 2011.. in Finnland build Boxster/Cayman are easy to id at the vehicle id number.. finish have a U in the number German build a S
Actually the beetle was designed by the founder of Porsche as an economic, cheap city car. So the beetle would be the little brother. The only thing they REALLY had in common was the rear engine layout (and thats only in the case of the 911), nothing else. You watch too much Top Gear kid.

porsche seems to have under engineered the cayman to fit in the category below the carrera, its easily capable of more.....
but the gud thing now is that now theres a million times less motivation to buy an old carrera if u cant afford a new one, jus get a cayman!
