This role playing exercise was really well done and shows how effectively the Reality Therapy approach is in resolving conflict and furthering goals. I would like to see more videos of this type!
Mary was portraying a father that she had to deal with a day or two before I went to Tucson to teach a short class on Reality Therapy. She asked me to show how I would work with a person like him. Yes, for some it is confusing because of the gender difference.
There was NO attempt to promote any message other than the RT approach with an Angry Parent.
a woman playing the role of the father .... hmmmmm rather clumsy guys ..... but hey at least you get to perpetuate the gender stereotype that men have a monoply on aggression !

Teachers need to see videos like this during their training. We often have difficulty with angry parents, and too often, the teachers get mad too.
