I'd kick some ass with combo's in Tekken but in MvC(2/3) Im shit teir.

It took me a lil bit to get some combos in the new MK but I picked up

SSFIV:AE and got my ass whooped. I played BlazBlue & got my ass

whooped. Had KoF XI(PS2/non online) but when I get the new one I'll

probably get my ass whooped in it also. I would just stick to Tekken

@PsYcHoCI2usHeI2 i wanna get better with Dormammu, i dont know if id say he's my fav, but i do like his style and looks, i do have him in my main team, yes im a PS3 user, but i wonder if i should practice with him now or wait til UMVC3 when he gets a few changes, for one their increasing the hitbox area on Dark Dimension so it no longer whiffs hardly above the ground, also his Dark Spells and Liberation can be used in the Air, though Lib teleports you to the ground before it releases its charges

You can extend the Chaotic Flame > X-Factor > Chaotic Flame a bit by adding a Dark Hole L (corner) or H (Mid-screen). Just let the 1st Chaotic Flame finish, x-factor, Dark Hole into the other Chaotic Flame.

@storkshot For rushing opponents like Wolverine and X-23 I noticed Red Carpet stops them dead in their tracks. A perfect time to charge. But this epiphany occurred to me yesterday. I think it would be better to combo after the Red Carpet instead of charge but I keep failing (the carpet keeps them on the ground during a launch most of the time).

Anyways. after a successful Chaotic Flame you can charge too.

I'm sure most people know this, but you should always do purification (L or M version will both work) every time you land his level 3. It always puts your opponent the same range away, in an OTG-able state, and you can always get a free pillar in. So do it even if you don't have the bar to follow up with a Chaotic Flame.

This video will be a great tool to leveling up your Dormammu game. Watch it multiple times, and soak in the great info!

how about some assist combos? it's pretty easy to get 700,000 with one bar using something like "quick work" to link his flame carpet to his launcher, for another air-combo loop. maybe they're self-explanatory

@hellomynameisnothin tiger knee motion is kinda like pre buffing the move. instead of hitting the launch and doing the liberation command after the launch which is what i think your doing do the QCB motion for liberation when u hit the S button then hit "H" and it should count the QCB u did before and do the liberation its the same properties as the "TKCS" (tiger knee cannon strike with cammy in street fighter that allowed her to do her cannon strike(air dive kick) inches off the ground

@tike The Dormammu thing is NOT a TK. At all. A tiger knee is performed by following through on a quarter-circle all of the way to 'up' and the pressing the button, nothing more. For example: TK fireball in street fighter: 23698(Keypad directions) -> punch. Basically an upward half-circle started at down and then the attack button.

Fix the music. I like how every combo is broken down for noobs/people who don't main dormammu. Except for that combo that didn't work @ 4:38 , it was a pretty good vid. Try to avoid using XFC combos, or have a separate section for them please! Would love to see this for more characters.

Thanks for this. My Dorm was all over the place and used mostly for assist or punishing mistakes/assist. Now he can actually fight. I don't think they are going to nerf him,he's so big and slow, if they nerf him in anyway, it's going to hurt.

Good video but you missed some cool things that he can do. Like if you do it right you can link 2 dark dimensions together on sent by after the first one use purification into x factor into hellfire into dark dimension. also you can xfactor after a stalking flame to continue a combo using hellfire to bring them back to the ground. your combos are ok but they dont maximize damage. i can get 2-3 million out of dormammu in a standard combo

amazing editting. as for music, i think the style of music is fine, its just the repetition was a bit much. Something like timberland's instrumentals cds might be something you could look into, as they have enough flavor to stay interesting, or just music from the game itself layered over the top, its music people are accustomed too and usually accepting of. That includes music from probably any capcom fighting game.
