@jwbaumann Announcing a presidential bid would seem to qualify as being a politician. But for the sake of your interest in semantics, what is the definition of a politician?
Politician-noun:
1. a person who is active in party politics.
2. a seeker or holder of public office.
3.a person who holds a political office.
It would seem to me that Mr. Cain is a politician by 2 of the 3 dictionary definitions. If you wish to dispute defined meanings in the English language I can't help you there buddy.
