Dimanche. Uh. \o/
@kokorosdreams merci beaucoup! Bonnie Scotland is a lovley place to visit if you like the cold and the rain Go in the Summer ! with Ireland (my Grandfather is Irish! Great time to visit Ireland is during St.Patrick's Day, that was the last I went to see my family!)
Gàidhlig is Scottish Gaelic very alike to Irish Gaelic (Gaeilge) we celts and get a angry/rude when non-gaelic pronounce the two languages names wrong!
I guess it's bit like Euro français and Français québécois :D
@MotherDanu No, not exactly XD It's more like the French and our regional languages (and they're a lot... !). They're old languages but our respectives countries imposed us another language. We can't really compare because of the historical context u.u And I understand why you get angry, it's the same for us XD
French quebecois isn't another language. It's a sort of dialect, they speak like that because of Brits influence.
@kokorosdreams Erh, are you sure? I thought Québécois (I don't really like to say French Canadian since I'm a separatist) was more like a mix of old-french (well, after all, our ancestors were sailors, peasants and criminals from the North, there's anything like sang bleu in our veins). And we got no brit influence, it'd be better to say american influence... (we tend to "franciser" some of the verbs, especially when talking about technology like cars and computers)
@tehachi Euh.. XD well, as I said, it's complicated to explain, and yes it's old French but with some english words. Then, with my lack of tact, I ask you something : are you Québecois ? XD I always fear to offense someone when I talk about countries specificities é_è'
@kokorosdreams That's not a lack of tact :P and I am QuébécoisE ^^ I felt like correcting you on this point because - since there's Harper ruining (we're not talking about ruling anymore) the country - I don't feel like being associated to the Brits or English Canadians anymore... well that's complicated but if you've heard about mister Playmobil hair and his stupid decisions... you'll understand XD
And you? Where are you from? Something tells me you're french, isn't?
@kokorosdreams Your English is excellent ^.^ If only my french was the same! 7 years of compulsive french all I acn do is ask of train ticket and order food! Oh and pronounce the french bets in Roulette perfectly >.<
XD " compulsive french "... I did compulsive english as well and I'm still unable to speak correctly >_> when I speak english it's like : Exkiouze mi, ware iz ze train ?
@tehachi your english is good well I can understand it and that's the main thing! there need to more FranScot with the "Auld Alliance" it's "the oldest alliance in the world". 700th anniversary was in 1995 that's what I call love!
