The line dryer that is lying on the ground should be installed inside the house at the fan coil.
It should be 5” before the evaporator with the flow indicator towards the evaporator, unless you have heat pump installed, then it doesn’t matter. The reason is that there is already one inside the condensing unit in the liquid line.
