  • Did you record this with a god damn potato?

  • Pop.

  • Who said it was a ford motor??

  • Nitrous backfire fo sure!

  • turbos belong in ricers

  • nobody comes to watch jap crap, unless they know this will happen. LOL SILLY RICER

  • @KrAxRACING It's a Ford.

  • "your welcome sir....."

  • I think its dumb that people are talking trash about Ford when its the owners fault that he either cant launch or has a bad tune. If this was a stock Mustang that had a turbo that did that, ok, then talk trash about Ford. Till then, all those that talk crap show their ignorance.

  • @Floordford I have to agree there, im not a ford fan but ya basically this is the owners fault. Could have been alot of things but it aint fords fault.

  • yep most people point the camera to the ground when they show something....

  • Yeah...Ford is pretty bad as usual.

  • @86godsmack

Lmao agreed, ford sucks so chances are the motor blew. Because it's a ford.

  • its a ford so i take it the motor blew up

  • Can mustangs do anything without blowing up?

  • BOOM!!!! thank you siiir... wtf was he waitin on the car to blow up lol

  • nitrous backfire

  • Turbo don´t cause that type of blow up....That was too much nitrous!

  • @RedlineAutoSupra yea all depends on the pressure of the turbo and how weak it is or if you have a hood on

  • thats what happens when you over tune

  • Bowling Green KY?

  • did you see his hood go up when the turbo blew up lol

  • turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown.

  • that looked like a nitrous backfire

  • thank u sir

  • Could you back up another 1000 feet and film it again.

  • @wd4000000 hahaha you just made me cheese my ass off

  • not a turbo, just a back fire. thumbs fucking down.

  • @Polybun so a backfire made flames burst out from under the hood?...Get back in the kitchen.

  • @zlee415 sure can. Thats what a back fire is, fuel igniting in the intake path.

  • @Polybun ahh, so your not talking about an exhaust back fire which usually happens with shitty, or cars with bad exhaust systems.

  • @Polybun those are kind of more rare than normal backfires.. like in the exhaust mani

  • @jaredb87 Not really. All it takes is for the engine to go lean for a moment and BANG. Very common on carburated engines.

In the case of this car, it's obviously the case in this video, probably due to a badly installed or designed nitrous system.

  • @Polybun

You mean in the exhaust piping, right? Igniting fuel in the intake wouldn't make sense...

  • @Kronis72 no, it makes perfect sense for fuel to ignite in the intake. Use your fucking head. That's what a back fire is. People tend to call fuel igniting in the exaughst a back fire, but that is not the proper term for it. That's just excess fuel burning off and causes no harm.

Go learn what valve overlap is, then it will all make sense.

  • @zlee415 yes? a backfire made flames burst out from under the hood. where else would they burst out from, under the dash?

  • @zlee415 Idiot fart puncher ass clown!

  • If it was turbo you woulda heard it b4 green n yea that's at bowling green

  • Intake manifold blew up, happens a lot with all the air you slam into the engine

  • Intake manifold blew up

  • someone doesnt know how to tune a car

  • its all quiet after the blow. lol

  • Blew my turbo and that's not what happens, u get a ton of cool bluish smoke coming out the back of your car like you're a Fucking Air Force Thunderbird! Thought it was my engine at first so had a panic attack, then upgraded to a stage 5 so it's bitter/SWEET. Another vid that makes me appreciate the guys who can keep a camera on the action.

  • nitrous, not turbo.

  • LOL....turbos don't pop. Seals deteriorate and the bearings give out, causing oil and and coolant to race into your intake and exhaust, creating tons of smoke out of your exhaust pipe and the eventual shutdown of the engine when the oil and coolant makes its way into the combustion chamber. It also makes it really hard for anyone driving behind you to see while you pull into the closest parking lot before the shutdown =D . Been there. Done that. Nitrous is just silly too...as seen in the vid =P

  • I love the footage of the bleachers...

P.S. That is nitrous backfire, not the 'turbo blowing up."

  • pop goes the mustang~

  • nitrous blow up the intake

  • u are all retarded

  • @zachkuby87 why r thay

  • OUCH

  • pretty sure the intake blew up from the nos not the turbo

  • be quiet................

  • Its a nitrous blow up.

  • that's why it's call a FORD!

  • yeah im pretty sure that isnt a ford turbo

  • No more horsepower! Poor little mustang

  • is this in bowling green???????

  • who ever post this video doesn't know what the hell they're talking about.

  • i guess thats the only way to make hp in your v8's? nos is for losers

  • noz back fire? a turbo dont do that

  • nitorus for sure...dint even hear a turbos pool at all.

  • That's a nitrous backfire, not a turbo blowing up

  • @tamaninja00 turbo not nitrous

  • @onionman113 Nitrous not turbo. Turbo's don't shoot flames

  • lol

    Thank you, sir!

  • fail...

  • there is no way thats a turbo letting lose and a car motor cant build that kinda boost like that, depending on wat side of the turbo want the motor would for the most part still run, and o did i say its cuz its a ford.... junk

  • deff a nitrous backfire

  • that really seems like a nitrous backfire not a turbo , ive never seen or heard of a turbo doing anything like this lol

  • turbos dont blow they suk

  • they spin

  • they spin while being blown(exhaust), blowing (intake)(turbo outlet), sucking (turbo inlet) all at the same time retards

  • a bugatti have 4 turbos and a 1.5mil price tag, ill stick with my dsm's

  • 990 k mate .. i would stick 2 an r32 golf bi - turbo kill any car for 45 k yes plz

  • They suck the air and then compress it and force it into the engine... that's where the pressure builds up... I still believe it's not the turbo... car engines aren't that much powerful enough to build that pressure in the turbocharger...

  • @croquis24 so when you check the turbo for boost you check the suction or boost theydont just suc but they blow to hence psi

  • WTF Thank ya sir.

  • good thing it was a ford

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha sucks for that guy

  • que loucura............

  • omg! well argueing is for sissies.. i hope you fixed it back up, those turbos are not cheap

  • Oh you guys are awesome Keep going :D

  • pwned!!

  • nitrous back fire probly blew intake lines

  • thank you sir!!! XD

  • I mean shouldn't have lol.

  • That's why that idiot should have bought a $100 Turbo. He needed a Cummings Turbo!

  • @elitecssplayer lol. it would run a 11 sec 1/4 mile and take 13 seconds to spool all the way up lol.

  • A Holset Turn is the #1 Turbo alive! lol

  • that doesnt have anything to do with it, drag racing turbos are literally pushed to the limit with EFI and water to air intercoolers pushing out more than 30 lbs of boost

  • nitrous maybe? a turbo wouldn't blow up like that, nitrous does..

  • not nitrous, revlimiter

  • lot's of fans disguised as empty bleachers...

  • Man oh man, it can happen to anyone. Tuning is fucking hard, especially when you're trying to safely get a full race tune out of an engine. It's not like overclocking a CPU or something, or GPU, ya know, there's no steps. You really gotta caution yourself, and just leave the fucking spray alone.

I've never used spray, never, I've owned many cars but only around 5 that matter, and still have two highly tuned cars, one street tuned. I use NO spray, it's unpredictable even with the best setup.

  • do you know the chemical compound of nitrous and way to be late on the trash talking there buddy

  • you couldn't be any further from the truth here. You obviously just don't know how to tune.

  • Why would you say such a thing, how could you be so presumptuous?

Secondly, what I stated is opinion. Unless you're questioning my other comment, although I doubt it.

You go ahead and defend the pussy juice all you like. I race circuit, not drag, and I don't street race, so I've never needed spray. So you're saying it's NOT unpredictable? Who the hell likes to tune a car with NOS? Few will, who wants to be responsible for replacing an engine? You're a friggin joke, and you don't know me.

  • somebody get this guy a tissue.

  • nos is easy to work with , you just have to know the limits. all it really does is add mor oxygen to the works, and it demands more fuel to equal out the effects. people just abuse it and think its a miracle maker, i know peopel who have gotten a more consistent and benificial effect from water/methanol injection . id chose longevity any day over a few hp.

  • for someone who thinks they know alot

y u calling nitrous "nos" ike a rice boy from fast and furious

  • LOL..thinks they know a lot. LOL.. at least i can spell. and im here to help people and learn . not to be a douche bag like you . so if you want to share , go for it , if you want to be a punk , keep it to yourself . im actually capable of having a conversation , i dont have to go to sad attempts to rouse an arguement, obviously your pathetic and inbread/mildly retarted. so ill leave it at that . but we can continue if youd like. id rather stay on topic. keep " thinking " your slick.your not

  • all nitrous is a shot of oxygen to the combustion chamber to provide a tempary boost of power

  • No champ,

Nitrous, is a shot of Nitrous Oxide to the engine, whcih increases combustion, until the bottle runs out.. increasing oxygen is what Turbo's / Supercharers are used for... :)

  • oh i kinda thought that after it was posted

  • What? lol, that didn't sound wrong to you as you thought it, in your head? Nitrous is a shot of Oxygen? Do you know what Nitrous Oxide is? How it burns?

Dude please educated yourself before you post such grotesque things. I mean, I can't believe someone would be able to say that without realizing how ignorant it is.

I mean, is it just me or does it drive anyone else here crazy that there are people this stupid? It's nuts, how can someone think such a thought without the logic alarm going off?

  • I know what Nitrous is and how it burns.

I know how it burn and what it is.

Nitrous oxide, also known as dinitrogen oxide or dinitrogen monoxide, is a chemical compound with chemical formula N2O. And did you know that Nitrous Oxide in a test tube will re-ignite a smoldering splint.

    **2 Nitrogen and 1 Oxygen**

  • Jeez you comment on such an old post... Congrats on knowing what NOS is, like it's so hard to simple wiki it anyways.... At least contribute something rather than reply to my very old post with nonsense.

  • Lets drop it nobody really knows what went wrong until they had a look at it, maybe the OP knows with a certainty, but that doesn't look like a blown turbo, they can break but they don't do that! That's more serious IMO. I've had more than one turbo fail between all the Saabs I've owned, and well regardless I've never seen anything like that happen. Looks more like just a blown engine, exactly what who knows, could have blown a piston thru the block, or simply blew the intake off the car.

  • whooooow you can read :O

  • stop makin a fool of urself

  • Lol, just because someone knows more then someone doesn't mean you have to be jealous.

  • @elitecssplayer lol i know and a lot of people don't agree but it is true

  • theres a lot more to it than that my friend, yes it adds O2 , since it does that , more fuel is needed beyond what a 1:1 fmu can deal with accurately, and timing needs to be modified wether be through an box , or manually on the cas/dist with a primary tune , and a nos tune on a switchable system like wot or toggle.

  • nitrous is basically air in a bottle if u wanna understand it more, not flammale...now, if u heat up the bottle with the nitrous in it it will go boom, just like any canned food on a stove compressed air goes boom when heated

  • grrrrrrrrr WAP!.. BOOM!

  • That looks a lot like Beech Bend

  • did anyone else notice there was no one in the stand beside the guy filming lol

  • yes we all did..

  • so you asked the 134,794 ppl that have viewed the video if they noticed? dick flop

  • hmm yea ive spend the last 7 hours spamming question to all those ppl ..

  • it took u 7 hours to look at 123 comments? lol just leave it alone ur just making urself look like more of a tool

  • ur a retard

  • the only was for a nitrous back fire to occur is if the the person engages the nitrous before the turbo spools, creating a bigger pressure surge, and allows the nitrous to go through the turbo gap, destroying the turbo, and exploding out the rear from the hot exhaust gas, since nitrous is highly flammable. meaning the turbo exploded.

  • WRONG..... nitrous is NOT flammable at all. Nothing more than a nitrous backfire.

  • @biohazard1243:

Nitrous is not flammable, it cools the air and during combustion the n2o splits into nitrogen and oxygen, resulting in a shitload of cold ass oxygen in your cylinders, providing a massive boost of torque and horsepower

  • @w00t692 Nice explanation. I kept forgetting to search how it works since like 2000

  • dick head, dont upload if u dont know wat ur talkin bout, definetly a nitrous backfire...

  • kinda looks like he over compressed

  • i was about to say, hopefully i'm not the only person that noticed it wasnt the turbo... tisk tisk. ppl not knowing what theyre talking about.....

  • yea that is definitely not the turbo blowing up, nitrous backfire for sure, still interesting to watch

  • nitrous backfire on turbo'd vehicles usually blows them up

  • its even worse when they have superchargers....they usually leave the engine and go to the moon

  • Oh NO! :o O_O

  • the older ones have cast iron i believe the newer ones with mod motors are aluminum some but not all, and as for a skyline its a great car but u buy a sn95 and put in it the diff. in what you would spend on a skyline and put em next to eachother and watch that mustang eat up that skyline, the skyline wont be pusshing much hp compared to the stang but will make up with the awd still would be a nice race to watch.

  • sn95? im not too sure what type of stang that is do u mean a roush mustang?. cos if u are. ive seen a 4dr r32 gts25t with a t3/t4 turbo pace off a stage 3 roush mustang. and conaidering that guys skyline has onli around 6k of mods to engine i dnt think the the mustange beats it in comparison to the total sum of money spent on each car

  • roush stangs arent shit, shelby is the real powerhouse of mustangs, and a sn95 is like the one in this video dude...

  • hmmm shuda got a skyline with its cast iron block. neva blows up : P

  • fuck skylines...mustangs are better lol. and the mustang DOES have a cast iron block...

  • ahhhh no. look again. mustangs have alluminum blocks. or else this wudnt have happend. besides skylines are better cos even if u completly beef out their power they can still be used at full power on a track.

  • nope. your wrong dude mustangs have cast iron blocks, show me where you got that crap information, and the turbo blew, not the block

  • well a dead give away is the wieght. no way can a 5l v8 cast iron block + car shell = 3300lb. but also wiki 'ford mustang' go down nd u will find this quote

"The Mustang GT features an aluminum block 4.6 L SOHC 3-valve Modular V8"

  • nitrous backfire ..........

  • @dasikotm no you retard it's the turbo blowing up get it right

  • Aluminum blocks are much more favorable. Just because a block is made of aluminum does not make it weaker. Aluminum saves weight, dissipates heat more efficiently, and alum. blocks are generally braced in the oil galley for strength. Cast iron blocks and aluminum blocks are sleeved the same, although better materials may be used with the aluminum block. Besides this stang's turbo blew, not the block. You would look like less of an ass if you actually knew what you were talking about.

  • y flames if the turbo blew ????????? NITROUS BACKFIRE !

  • ?

    turbo blows up

not block what are you talking about?

  • drag race:huge moment of silence...me: LMFA0O0O

  • dodge is the shit and that was so cute that lil turbo you should see the turbos go on big truck engines its so damn impressive

  • to make up for the insecurity of the drivers of the trucks.

  • man hed be that spewin

    lol

  • Well that sucks. Sorry about your luck. I didn't even hear it spooling up. :/

  • shoulda got a toyota jk

  • Nope. Dodge. I want a camaro but don't have the money for insurance.

  • aw well nevermind dodge is a good truck

  • Well I got two ford for Chevy and Dodge...BAIL OUT!!

  • Same here, brother. Keep it domestic, but go MOPAR. MOPAR or NOCAR.

  • Hell yeah bro! I have a 1966 Dodge D100 Step side, with the original 318 V8, I found in a field!! It now has A/C and power steering which had to be done custom of course b/c they didn't have that back then. And it was done by me. I have been slowly restoring it but the only things needed to be restored is the paint, radio, suspension, and the wooden bed. The engine still runs strong and the frame is still straight! That old 318 will still light up the tires though! :D MOPAR FTW!!!

  • Rock on man! And hell yeah, the ol' 318 will outlast the 350 small block even, a really reliable GM engine (I like GM, too, and own a 1990 Chevy Silverado 1500 half-ton with a long bed. I'll put up a video of it running and the engine later. Check it out in the morning or w.e.) but i've had a W-100 before with the 318. It was a '78, and I could light up brand new 33" boggers easily. It had a 60 cfm Edelbrock carb, and Hooker Hedders with nothing past them, lol.

  • to the trailer, shoot
