The acting in this is laughably bad,like platoon laughingly bad.Penn and harvey are constantly over acting,and fox just can't act.His monolouge scene after the cherry is booby trap had me laughing.Watch full metal jacket and apocalypse now(original version)to get the true chaos and absurdity that most veterans said it was like over there.They also are the only ones not to moralize or give easy answers.Thet have haunting scores,that don't manipulate you like platoon and this shitty film.
