The Missing 4-4 block is yet another metaphor/analogy designed to send us all out on a wild goose chase (journey) to find the answer (the princess). Just like Tim we will never find out the answer (the princess) and just keep on with our possessed search.
there aren't two clouds on the epilogue, just one.
I checked said cloud in level editor on pc, and it turns out that its just an elongated normal cloud. in braid, when you make a cloud wider, instead of stretching, it adds other clouds under it to make it longer. also, it has some movement (to compare it with the mischevious level 2-2 cloud, this one has got 30 movement to the right -yeah its oposed to the direction its facing- so it is blocked by the castle, while the 2-2 cloud has 70 movement)
You think there's maybe a way to get to the epilogue without building the entire castle?
If the cloud is moving to the right, it may obviously lead somewhere unknown
maybe there's a way that you can in order choose which ladder pieces to build, that way you can jump up to the epilogue levels without all the puzzle blocks
yeah i have a wierd feeling that there is alot of hidden stuff in this game. i mean i didn't even know it had stars till a few mins ago. plus you get more of the story if you can figure out what to do to make that girl sing. you get xtra text
Along with the missing block thing, I've heard that after you collect all 8 stars this particular level spawns an extra bunny flower for no apparent reason, and also that the cloud at the end of the epilogue gets bigger. Can anybody verify?
I think the Missing 4-4 block is one of the biggest mysteries I have ever seen in a video game. Something very strange is going about this level. What could it be? Seriously, it's killing me!
You guys should be asking yourselves- how the hell is he typing? The keyboard is right there, but no one is on it. Answer: It's a glitch!

the epilogue misses 1 block, im not sure y but if you were to add that block it wouldnt be a castle

does any of this glitchy stuff work in the pc version ?
it must of just been a HUGE quinsadence there was a glitch on the same level he left the block out of.......
... still seams a bit odd though.

yeh alot of people have done that the cloud doesnt move .. nore does it get bigger.
and the "extra bunny flower" is always there it doesn't spawn after.
