holy mother F'er..... how did you get him to do that? mine is still scared of me and when i sumtimes put it in a critter keeper with crickets, it is more interested in escaping... only time it goes after crickets is when the lights go out at night... and i view it hunting with a red bulb
wow im looking for a gecko like that that can climb ive owne leopard geckos and fat taild geckos now u i want something even more exciting not meaning to be a smart ass but i want a gecko that looks scarey LOL that people dont want to touch any got any idead pelase message me nice video btw
Get a Tokay Gecko, grows to 14inches, can climb anything, and look kinda scary^^, however i belive they are more difficult to care for than crested geckos.
Hey awesome video! I love how high they can jump. i have a new channel and have a pretty neat video up of some of my cresteds! it would be awesome if you checked it out! thanks!
yea that why ive chose to have these, havent bought yet , but why are they so damn expensive, i mean its fairly cheap to keep crested geckos from what i can tell, but buying one is like wow! lots of cash
Crested Geckos, in fact, any Gecko are nocturnal. If you want a Lizard you can play with often, and hold in the day time, you should get a Bearded dragon. They are easy to take care of, and arent as fragile as geckos. If this is your first lizard, then a Beardie is best. Look up info on both species for more information on them, and make your desision on your preferences and how costly it will be.
well crested geckos are not that much to be handled. They kinda have delicate sakin and are not to found of handling but another small lizard that is also a gecko is the leopard gecko. These are great beginner lizards and are docile and grow to medium size plus they do not cost as much to house like a bearded dragon.
Hey that's so cool! I tried to do it with my cresties but they don't jump to me to catch the cricket, they only eat it if I put in in front of their face... they r not as brave as yours!
@werdna53 come to my house you will see the fastest gecko the guy sold it to me for half off it was pretty and everthing but i can barely clean his cage without him escaping
no they will kill each other as they are completely differant speciese and leopard geckos are terestrial and crested geckos love trees and love to climb in them leopard geckos are native to desert crested geckos are native to tropical forests leopard geckos like it around 80-90 degrees with 0 humidity until they are in shed crested geckos like high humidity and high temp from 80-85 degrees they wouldn't do good together lol
crested geckos like room temp. if they get too hot, there is a danger to them and they could even drop their tails! they are more at risk of overheating than not enough heat.
Wow nice technique. I have 14 crested geckos and I have not tryed this yet. Maybe I will with one of my babies from this year. I dont think I would try that with Ghosty or the other big ones, when they strike they hit like a ton of bricks. LOL
Wow I though he wouldn't make it

gartersnake1919 2 years ago
whats better a crested gecko or leopard gecko
cheeseballs85 2 years ago
depends what you would like
a tropical-crestie
a desert-leopard
they both are not that hard to take care of
so yh cresties cant handle high temps (above 80)
but a leopard geckos hot side needs to be about 85-92

Do adult crested geckos do that too? Cause i'm trying to decide between crested gecko and bearded dragon. Any tips/advice anyone?

Yeah i'm not a begginer. I also don't like leos as much. I'm going to an expo in a few weeks and am gonna try to get a pair of cresties =)
JesusWeptt 3 years ago
hey good idea! u can get thm cheaper. I saw them in petsmart and they were 50 each.
kbamch92 3 years ago
wrong cresties take well to being handled. lol check your sorces of info before you post
realityexplorations 2 years ago
are you kidding? crested geckos are probably the easiest reptiles to handle. they tolerate it more then a leopard gecko even
biglarry345 2 years ago
no leos r alot better handling wise. but cresties r kinda cool leosftw i have both. i breed leos and dontbreed cresties.
Bobina20 2 years ago

That isn't a leopard gecko. and you are calling other people amateurs. Learn how to spell the word first maybe. And un-confuse your species
