No one is slamming it, they are saying your definition of miracle is an exercise of double think to bolster your stupid religious beliefs. It's great that everyone survived, but why did their plane crash to begin with? You can't have it both ways. You can't have your cake and eat it too. A miracle would be the plane landing on the water with its wheels suspended on the surface like the water was solid ground. It's just a normal plane crash, well trained pilots, and random circumstance.

I don't consider it a miracle, but it was a damn good job by the pilot, and still very very fortunate for those aboard, but probably not a miracle, unless the pilot was asleep. :}

A flock of birds hit 2 engines out (not the first time that's happened)and the pilot knew he wouldn't make it to a landing site. With the good engines on the other side of the plane (extremely hard to control) he landed in the river. If just one wing had touched the water during the land the plane would have completely flipped over. It isn't a miracle. It's just skill from that pilot. Makes sense he was flying in the army and commercially for 40 years.

Last Sunday on Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer, Dick Cheney admitted that he authorized water boarding for three people. That same Sunday Barack Obama expressed his views on water boarding and said that he considered it to be torture. If Obama is a man of principle as he portrays Eric Holder will have a big job to carry out starting next Tuesday.
