the host mentions around 3:57 what charity the proceeds are going to. chances are the charity will recieve money, or else they would make a stink. now, wheter or not emma and will recieve anything is unknown, however i would think the publicity is enough in most cases. :)

Ok, here is what happens. Celebrities are asked on shows like this and are offered a nice bit of cash to make the appearance. They choose a charity to give them a bit of publicity, which the charity wants trust me, and the show does donate a bit usually. It really isn't about them winning a specific amount, as the show wants ratings and the charity wants to be mentioned by the celebrity. Celebrities rarely do anything for free, though the charities that are mentioned don't come out too bad.
