  • I just adopted a heeler collie mix and am working on cat/dog relations. My cat is 6 and has never had a dog friend, the dog is dog 2-3 and seems to have had cat experience in her last home. I keep thinking I'm doing the wrong thing with the introductions.

  • omg his eyes are soooo gorgeous!!

  • that dog is beautiful! love the eyes

  • how did this turn out because i took a video of my dog doing the same thing but we had her for months but wen we first got her she would keep pulling and crying so now its a step up i just need more pointers

  • hes alot better than my dog.... as soon as my cat starts to move.. she starts sniffing and running

  • Yea...^-^; sorry you guys did it wrong from the start. The minute the vid started your BC was already in 'hunter' mode and then you pet him. That encouraged him to keep at it. The person holding the leash should have scolded him the minute the BC started to stare. BC are known for their intense concentration when working after all they show you where their mindset is. You can train him out of it, but not that way. The cat was perfectly fine just reacting to the dog.

  • How old is your cat?
