Just wondering...I am really tempted to buy Microsoft Flight X...but the game is from 2006..how can the graphics be this good looking as I have seen in some other movies ppl posted about the Flight X game..

i bought  flight simulator x like 2006 maybe? i had a dell and the graphics were bad, was it from the computer? like if i went into settings and adjusted anything, it would slow down the game and it would lag and stuff. What kind of software should I have for flight simulator? I have a macbook pro and a hp desktop, would it work better on those? They are both fairly new.

Okay, X-Plane is certified by FAA, but for less experienced pilots or ordinary people, FSX is targeting. But it is defiantly a simulator and not a game, if you configure it right.

And need many extensions, to be like in the video, but it's OK. X-Plane is used on many full flight simulators as well, training thousands of pilots around the world...so it is simply the most realistic simulator out there. FSX is compared to that, a game, but not generally a game!

As much as I like FSX, I'm still on FS2004. Microsoft just never thought about practicality of the everyday consumer when thinking about FSX. You need a really nice computer just to run FSX at half of what it's capable of. I hope my new computer can handle FSX when I get it though.

I've flown in certified/professional flight simulators before for the purposes of real life instrument flying (granted, maybe not the large level-d airline sims), and quite frankly, I think my FSX these days are in a lot of ways better. It ain't perfect, but there are some really nice addons that can make that desktop simulator seem like so.

@TheNangaParpat You're a lie. I'm running it on a dualcore 2.1ghz AMD Turion with 4gb DDR2 and I can run it just fine. In fact, I fucking ran it back when it came out on my Pentium fucking 4 with small lag spikes. My old desktop didn't even have 200 GB.
