  • why you can't show blue ray's on a DVD player?

  • No problem reproducing MKV files that were burned on regular DVDs????

  • do you have to connect to the internet for youtube and if so how ( i.e thru wireless or a wire)

Does it also allow you to actually watch the blu-ray movie and rewind and fastforward.

  • coool

  • Is it possible to search through titles in netflix, or just watch your queue?

  • hey look, this LG has a blue light that will distract you from watching your movie.

  • @2point6x4 if it distracts you then cover it over...

  • u speak like a chinesse or is it just me?

  • Excellent job. Answered all my questions. Thanks!

  • Your blu ray loads Netflix pretty fast. What is your internet speed?

  • thanks for uploading

  • farscape is awesome!!

  • I did not like it at the beginning but after watching a few episodes I was hooked.

  • @aramistech thats right only if your tv is not an 1080p and if u dont have a decent surround sound system(not tv speakers). for example avatar is amazing on bluray, looks waaaay better than the reg. dvd

  • does that mean that with the HDMI cable you dont need the audio and component cables????

  • Awsm video, Im looking at buying the BD370 and this is extremely helpful, Thanks a lot!

  • Blue ray players have a resolution of 1080p

Regular DVDs have a resolution of 480i/480p

Use an hdmi cable for your blue ray player, don't use analog connections.

Blue ray movies look clean and sharp...

everyone should switch to blue ray, People who are still using DVD players don't understand the specifications.

  • You are right and wrong. First I do believe in getting a cheap blueray player which will upconvert your movies and make them look pretty much as good as the blueray movies. I do agree that buying blueray is a waste unless it comes with the regular copy included for a cheap price. I bought a few blueray movies and they do not look all that different from the ones I currently have. Blueray does add some functions that standard dvd's do not. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.

  • @stewartstown You must be blind then

  • @stewartstown disagree with everything you just said.

  • @stewartstown thats what I thought until the other day I watched a blu-ray movie on my Samsung 42" 16x9 Plasma 720p TV, and the picture from the blu-ray movie looks a whole lot better in color and sharpness when compared with a standard dvd.

  • if i buy this what do i need els for recording from my PS 3 please

  • This is a blueray player. It will play your regular dvd movies and blueray movies. That is is. It is only a player.

  • @aramistech Actually no. It plays mkv (inc 720 & 1080), avi, divx, xvid/xvid hd, avchd. not to mention mp3 & jpeg. it may play some other video formats but if it does, i never use them. theoretically, it supports mp4 as well, but i have run into issues when the mp4 container uses wpredp=2. avchd also doesn't work if the x264 is encoded with wpredp=2. MKVs play fine (unless, of course, bime=1 is included). it does NOT switch to youtube HD, though. that sucks.

  • could you help me please. i am thinking of buying a blueray player, but can you really see a big difference compared to dvd? and what one do you think is the best for money? and great video mate

  • The blueray player I got was the best for my money. I love it, it does not just work for your blueray movies, it also works great for regular dvd's because it upconverts the video and makes it look really good. Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you liked the video.

  • can it record from tv please ??

  • great vid. is there any way to get internet connection wireless on this model?

  • Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Regarding your question, I did not see a way to do this. Other more expensive blueray players come with wireless.

  • can you tell me the difference between the 24hz option and the 60hz option on this blu ray player? i think it is under the audio menu. which should we use ?

  • According to information I found on google, your TV has to support 24hz and 60hz. Most people say that 24hz gives them the best audio. I haven't messed around with that. I connected as is to my surround sound and it sounds great.

  • I recently wanted to upgrade my dvd player to blu-ray and was just wondering if you use a 1080p hdtv with 120hz on it, will u actually be able to see the difference in 60hz and 120hz with this blu-ray player?

  • Hi, 120hz refers to the refresh rate, 120hz is good if you are watching fast motion content like a football game. To give you an idea most movies in hollywood are shot in 24hz. So the answer is yes, depending on the content you are watching you will experience a better picture. Hope this helped you out.

  • Good video

    Nice blue-ray player

  • Thank you, I appreciate it.

  • I just use my PS3 for a blu ray player, but that's still pretty cool.

What song do you use in the intro?

  • That is also a great idea, The song in the intro is a combination of clips from the songs that the iLive suite comes with on the mac. I mixed them together and got what you hear. Thanks.
