I absolutely LOVE Vast. To add to the theme of Eggmandu's previous post, I too have a wide spectrum of tastes. I predominantly love Death, Black, and other forms of Metal music. I also love NIN and other such music.

Greatness is typified by its ability to be recognized by all. This is great music, despite anyone's proclivities in typical musical fare.

This song is coming from the perspective of a Christian who falls for a girl that isn't. Due to his belief system, he doesn't think she will be in heaven after death. This song is about the grief he feels due to that situation, because he won't see her there.
