  • things are getting better?

    really?

  • @cds162 Hard W is really bad news! Commercial real estate collapse will begin summer 2010.

  • The only thing the usa has is a printing press for dollars that nobody wants because they are worth nothing so how is the usa going to make the profit to rebuild its economy in the coming future

  • At least your optimistic. Because all the reports and reading that I've done show dam near the opposite. 2nd housing crisis along w/retail. more job loss & bank closures. Massive amount of spending by our Government. It's not possible to spend your way out of debt. Try it! you'll be living behind walmart in a box treating yourself to chinese food and goods. Double our exports, um what exports all we do is consume. Manufacturing, sales, loans all at historical lows. Sorry to rain on your parade!

  • Ha! And this 2010 wait to see the crisis in Spain, Greece and Portugal and then another macrocrisis in Europe dragging Asia and America again, Happy 2010!

  • I want to be optimistic but it seems to me that there are certain harmful realities that must be remedied before any recovery can occur. The US must become a competitive manufacturer in order to generate a sure footing in the global market. That means that the average American must settle for 2 bucks an hour. Until then the US economy will continue to contract. Am I correct in assuming this?

  • no. gold will hit 1500 maybe, but not 2000. if gold hit 2000 it would mean that the economy would be collapsing. if gold hit 2000 people would really begin to dump their dollars

  • Thanks for the sane measured predictions. Breath of freah air from the hysteria about gonal economic collapse.

  • All in all you paint a pretty rosey picture...

  • Wow ! I have read the exact opposite of what you are saying about the positive growth in u.s. economy.
