Christ, brings back memories. I was a screaming kid being wrestled into my seat constantly running for the door even though my father had already left. The only difference was that it was in Ireland, not China!
this is being shown right now on Link TV (ch.# 9410 Dish Network,NYC). I have seen this a couple times-i think it is a well made show. Like all young children, they run the range of emotions & attitudes-being extremely sad at leaving their homes & villages for first time, being fresh, funny, cute. They are boarded due to the distances of homes to the schools in lesser developed areas. They do go home on the weekends.I love Ma Yulan-always a fresh girl in a class.I love these kids-grow healthy & happy!
let's be fair, kindergartens around the world host screaming children, and when you are treated like a prince at home, going into a classroom full of little princes-- none of which are allowed to be spoiled children anymore-- is traumatizing. I work in a kindy in Taiwan, and there's always one new kid who takes a month or two to stop throwing tantrums all day every day...
