  • @sunnyjim98 yes you can if you want to get bacterial infection(E.coli, Salmonella etc) or a tapeworm or Toxoplasma gondii :D google them, they are not nice :D

  • @Ladylyla you only get that with old not cooled meat. google it yourself. one of belgium's national dishes is raw minced beef. "filet américain". have eaten it for years. another "I know all youtuber".

  • @cartouchator tapeworm eggs, many species of bacteria and other pathogens can survive easily even when cooled... maybe if you feeze it really good you could kill them all. It doesn't really matter if the meat is oled or not, if it's contaminated it's not safe, i wouldn't trust the seller with that, and it's pretty impossible to have meat bacteria-free so it's best to cook it really good. just a biologist

  • @Ladylyla tell that to my whole country eating raw beef minced meat prepared with specific sauces every 3 days :-) never been sick ;-) just get a good butcher. by the way, bacterias die at the temperature of 65°C. worms at 80°C. even pink they're dead.

  • @cartouchator when you cook it to 80°C it's surely not pink anywhere :D at 70 the last pink goes away. The fact that you haven't gotten sick doesn't mean that anybody else hasn't, it's just luck. And btw.. it may take years before you notice some diseases.

  • You really shouldn't eat pink hamburger. All the bacteria is on the outside of the meat until its ground up, then it becomes incorporated throughout the meat. Just cooking the outside isn't going to kill all the bacteria like it would with a steak.

  • How do you make the burger flat without pressing down on it while you cook? My burgers always end up puffing up in the middle, and I make them flat before i throw them on the pan.

  • You just want to keep the juices inside. You do that by high heat. Thatway the hamburger singeing on the outside and makes the meat get fixed by it's own juice on the inside. More better way is to make a meat ball when you still want it raw on the inside.

  • @bigbradford69 its safe if you still have your appendix. doctors say there is no reason for an appendix, but thats because we cook our meat all the way through mostly now a days. your appendix helps you consume raw meet by breaking down the enzymes and killing any potential virus.

  • how do you prevent burgers from shrinking up too much? this is always a problem for me. i prefer thin burgers and even when i make my patties as flat as possible, they still shrink and plump up like crazy.
