Yes, she is more then great from many points of view. But the one thing i discovered about her that is not perfect it's exactly her spanish accent. In frnech, english, italian she's divine, but in spanish no. If you know spanish, if you speak spanish, then you understand what i mean. And i'm not from Spain neither Latin America unfortunately, but i am latin and i hear the difference :(

I planned my entire Paris trip around Lara's concerts, and I was definitely there as a crazy fan! "En Toute Intimite" is the tour she did after the "Lara Fabian Live" tour (from which this Tango performance was taken), and it reinvented her songs in a more intimate and acoustic setting. Her rendition of "Je Suis Malade" is probably her most heartfelt ever.

As for following her on the road, there is also another DVD which came as a bonus with "Lara Fabian Live" that is like a behind-the-scenes documentary. The "Intimite" is all concert.

Kiwi: This is from "Lara Fabian Live." Despite the fact that the album was amazing, this concert was not. I was present all 3 nights of filming (in Paris), and at the end of the first night, Lara apologized to the audience because she had a 102-degree fever. But I love her showmanship and dedication to her public!

The vocal performances in this DVD are very lacking... shortness of breath, restrained vocal delivery, and she resorts too often to let the audience sing for her. Watch "En toute intimite" to see Lara at her finest!
