Hi, I took Ralph with me on a bike ride of 10 miles and he managed it OK. However, he seemed to lag behind a bit. I couldn't ride very fast as he wanted to stop all the time to sniff all the interesting smells he came across. If I take him for a walk, he can walk forever, I think it is the speed he can't cope very well with. I can thoroughly recommend an English Cocker as a family pet, as they have lovely natures. A friend bought a Working Cocker, these need more exercise than English Cockers

Hi, how does Ralph get on with the longer walks?

I'm after a nice family dog I can take with me while out mountain biking and love Cockers, do you think he's be able to keep up for 15-20 miles?
