Interesting, the thing about accents. I'm 3rd generation Irish and I can do a decent Irish brogue just from being around it. But several years ago I worked for this interntl company and we had sevrl people from Ireland training at out facility n they easily were able to do basic American. Now, if asked to do NY or Minn, GA, TX(regional) accnts, they might have been hard pressed. Same can be said for how hard it is to distinguish bet. a Dublin accnt and a Cork or Clare or Donegal accnt.

Gay Byrne is like Irelands answer to Johnny Carson. He's certainly not everyones cup of tea but he's a legend of Irish broadcasting. He did a series of these shows and is someone Colin would have respect for.
