  • in Phone Booth, he doesn't sound Irish

  • i still cant believe that he did phone booth with such an italian cocky arrogant style.being irish...that shows you how talented this guy is...hes is an inspiration and a gift from god.

  • this gey is my husbend. heh.

  • He's a very smart guy

  • This is my favourite interview of all time. It's so honest. I never get sick of it. Colin Farrell is a LEGEND!!!!

  • I am mesmerized! I can listen to his clam voice and stories funny or not forever and ever...!

  • i have a man-crush on farrell.

  • Colin is perfect! Gorgeous person.

  • He sounds a bit like a south african boer, dutch

  • what makes him likeable is that he is very hot

  • what makes him really likeable is that he is very honest

  • gaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbbbbooooooooooo

    ya legend !

  • Jeez, he is very good at changing his voice. Naturally he has this accent, but in movies, like SWAT, he does american perfectly.

  • Interesting, the thing about accents. I'm 3rd generation Irish and I can do a decent Irish brogue just from being around it. But several years ago I worked for this interntl company and we had sevrl people from Ireland training at out facility n they easily were able to do basic American. Now, if asked to do NY or Minn, GA, TX(regional) accnts, they might have been hard pressed. Same can be said for how hard it is to distinguish bet. a Dublin accnt and a Cork or Clare or Donegal accnt.

  • @Countzir0interrupt Huge difference between a Cork, Dublin and Donegal accent. Much more so than even a NY and GA one.

  • he's extremely smart. he's really intuitive, actually. everything he says he hits it right on the spot, it's quite amazing.

  • @hilsnchad True. From any perspective that you look at it be it mental, spiritual, or emotional what he says is right on point. Collin is great.

  • OK, I can now officially say that after seeing this interview I am now in love with Colin Farrell.

  • Does anyone else think Irish accents are HAWT?!!

  • @Shad0vvStalk3r SO FUCKING HOT!!!! oh my lordd.....

  • sexy *_*

  • this guy has been touched by the luck of the irish with the roles he gets.

  • @MrHopeTelevision Please dont use that term it was ment to be demeaning as a way to diminish an irish person being successful, as if to say the irish dont work hard for things.

  • hes a fucking smart bloke

  • So fucking hot....i <3 Colin Farell

  • Such a humble dude.

  • my mum met him

  • an affable and likeable guy. I really wish people would stop wishing for yesterdays stars when there are a handful of them that could have thrived in any hollywood period. This guy would have been a star in any era...he's dreadfully underrated.

  • i do agree w/ u but unfortunatly the media is pretty ignorant; when he first came around in hollywood he was just seen as a "bad boy" cuz of all the crazy shit he did but in my opinion i think hes grown alot since then.i geuss after he had his baby boy he decided calm down.

  • oj,chyba miał tu kaca ;p

  • Not a stupid hollywood star...clever guy...

  • he should have been george bush in oliver stone's "W"... he would have nailed it. so many times in In Bruges, i was shocked how much his character looked like bush...

  • that's a great movie

  • This guy deserves many oscars. He really is a great actor.

  • Colin has such a cute accent,I love it,though I really have to concentrate the whole time to catch most of the things:-))

Here-I dont know why but he reminds me of a layabout.:-))))))

  • Gay Byrne's voice..wow.

  • cool cool guy

  • Not only cool, but I think a decent human being.

  • i love how highlighters are "illuminous markers". lol.

  • Well what can ya say? It's just the UK term, or probably the term for a lot of Europe and the rest of the world. lol

  • @tall32guy Actually, here in Ireland, which is not the UK, we say highlighters. I don't know why he called them illuminous markers lol

  • talk about being COMPLETELY different to his media "bad boy" image. What a genuine, down to earth fella..

  • Gay Byrne is like Irelands answer to Johnny Carson. He's certainly not everyones cup of tea but he's a legend of Irish broadcasting. He did a series of these shows and is someone Colin would have respect for.

  • <3 his accent

  • I love this man. Looking forward to more film with him.

  • What a great guy, Looking forward to seeing him do many a more good film

    x
