And old school DJs derserve a lot of credit, scratching without a computer program to store samples and songs or show you the waveforms, give you effects, etc.

Sampling is an art, as much as any other instrument, I would say.

And yes the samples had to get cleared, so they're not stealing. I compose however, and I do not sample.
