Apart from the titles being alike, Psycho Cop actually isn't like Maniac Cop at all. In Maniac Cop, the big cop called Matt Cordell gets framed and then dies in prison, but the guy in Psycho Cop is just an escaped mentalist who murders random people because he's deranged. While the cop in this movie could be called undead too, the films aren't really copying one another. I like Maniac Cop more, and the sequels are good popcorn flicks as well.

Can't find this movie anywhere. Seen part 2 unedited years ago on cinemax 1994-95 but now its chopped up when you get it on netflix.
