  • DAMN! THAT IS SOME FUCKING EXPENSIVE ELECTRICITY!!! I just did the math on this and at a bulk diesel price of $2.50/gl. That $17,250/hr That means at 76 Mw output power. that would be about $0.22/Kwh. and that just the wholesale price not including the cost to run the machine.

    That is a huge consumption. We tend to forget that big engines are thirsty.

  • Most run on natural gas or diesel or both ,in power plant not jet fuel the cost for jet fuel wouldn't be very cost effective,from my understanding.

  • that is so insane. thats consuming it jet fuel faster then a gas pump can pump gasoline!!!!!!!!
