  • music to my ears

  • OOOORRRAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This brings back memories of my days at MCRD San Diego back in 74. Semper Fi to Marines everywhere. Once a Marine always a Marine.

  • i think sports should do cadences too. teaches uniformity and helps your breathing when marching/jogging.

  • How would I really wanted to be an American marines, even this I would like, why do not you give me a visa?

  • Lmfao go fasters?

  • Freedom plane launch at :42 oh but dont look!

  • theres no way in hell this is a reception/first phase platoon. Reasons why i think that....

    1. New recruits could NOT march in sync that well that fast

    2. Rifle manuals were being called.....yep again no way new recruits would be able to do that either.

  • @redtib2003 You sir, are correct. Marching manual isn't taught until after T-17, which is initial drill. Also, we all know that being in go fasters in 2nd or 3rd phase is used as a "punishment" to embarass the recruits or after certain PT events (depending on the company). This is from a former DI (04-07, Kilo). Definitely not 1st phase.

  • @raywhiteusmc that kinda explains the go fasters, i got sent home for injuries on T-15. hopping to go back some time soon now.

  • Ahahaha! 1st phase recruits! You can tell because of the "go fasters". And the way their sleeves are rolled.

  • dam light duty platoon haha, its funny how you miss all the bs when your out.

  • hahaha why the F*ck would you post 1st phase recruits marching?

  • my eyes must be teasing me, it looks like theyre wearing go-fasters

    hahaha

  • @lilxAPluvaboi they are..

  • @DonE1899

    serious?

my instructors would never have us march with a weapon in go-fasters, the sheer though would have them clawing at our necks

  • @lilxAPluvaboi yes they are. see, boots take a LONG time to break in, so they alternate each pair of boots and go-fasters.

  • dam that looks like ur in front of the recruit px videotaping. i just graduated a week ago. i no shit miss bootcamp.

  • @chopz1 ..Ha ha the guide is missing. Light duty I bet. Ha ha.

  • i think i saw that DI when I was at MCRD

  • Lean Back! At the waist!

  • I hated bootcamp but lookin back that shit was pretty funny an i do miss the DI cadence

  • i like the sound of the DI...sounds sick!

  • @ryanbangcore sd not pi....

  • I've heard lord vaders (imperial march) cadence, adams family and a bunch more, funny as shit, specially in MCCSSS Camp Johnson, NC

  • please can someboyd tell me the name of the cadence that the DI is singing/chanting in this video? i can't find the name or words he's saying anywhere

  • It's just a marching cadence with nothing more than left right your right left

  • @naamphon ..There is no name to those marching cadences. Each drill instructor uses his own unique voice to call the cadences that are necessary.

  • My kill hat drill instructor sgt chacon did a cadence to the adams family..

  • my bf said that his DI would do cadence in the beat of different songs lol

marching is cool, well thats what i think

  • your right, I was thinking the same exact thing

  • man when i was in boot camp at PI last year a couple days before i graduated i heard this black drill instructor from fox company doing a drill cadence to i believe i can fly, been trying to find something like that ever since that shit was fuckin motivating and went hard, i wanna make a beat in collaboration with that

  • yeah my third hat used the I Believe I Can Fly sing song during our initial drill. Sing songs are sick

  • i had a drill instructor Drill Instructor, from 3rd battallion India Co. 3108, who also did "i believe i can fly"

  • my SDI did that cadence when i was at Final drill.. shits pretty tight.. I was at MCRD San Diego.. I just graduated last friday... i loved every moment of it.. BRAVO NATION

  • i stayed in that squad bay right in front of the recruit px i remember gettin murderd in the pit right behind it lol india co plt 3210 grad aug 15 2008

  • who were your drill instructors? I was India co. and graduated in july

  • i had sgt. mast ssgt lentz who is a fuckin badass, sgt jones ssgt banda.

  • oh shit, my second SDI was SGT. Jones (first one got njp), but it might have been a different one because I heard it was his first cycle and he was going to be an SDI and promoted to SSGT next cycle

  • When I was in, one of my D.I.'s turn out to be my Sgt. in the FMF! Now that is what you call small world or... a small Corps, haha.

Bootcamp Platoon 1106, 1st BN. Bravo Co. 98-02

    Semper FI and carry on.

  • LOL I stayed in that barricks in 2003...

    Dirty Delta, PLT 1041

    Semper Fi!

  • That's prolly sgt watts

  • Hey is that sgt sanders?

  • is that sgt sanders?

  • is that sgt sanders?

  • I wish i could go back as a DI that would be awesome

  • YEa but a DI isnt a permanant job. The marines pick people to be Di's they become D.I's for so long and then they go back to whatever their job was before they were picked for D.I.

  • y they swinging there arms up so high?

  • thats the way it is done. the Marines march much differently then the Army. the Army is more simple while the Marines execute something much more of a higher standard.

  • OohRah to that. 6 to the front 3 to the rear lean back and strut

  • OORAH! :) Semper Fi Bro

  • @sortdeuce oohrah!

  • @synysterlud Surprisingly, despite being in an Army JROTC, all years I was in, even in last year (it was my third), I was allowed to teach "my" cadets in company and on the drill team USMC drill, due to the flash and pop of it. Then this year, some little punk claimed that the Drill Team got to State because of what HE taught them, when I taught his little lying ass everything he knows in drill.

  • @synysterlud They all march the same

  • 6 to the front 3 to the rear

  • marines dothat to, i thought air force jus did it, i got yelled at cuz i didnt swing back

  • everyone does it dumbass

  • 40 inches back to chest! OOHRAH!!

  • I do not understand which the Seargent say. To me someone can say. Greeting from Germany

  • hard to understand? not really. its simple. you just have to get used to it.

  • left right left right!

  • di sgt was all fuck up couldn't even center himself from his men

  • lol when drilling you are to be 2/3 from the from of the plt.

  • from the from of the plt? ???

  • i think we all understood what the guy was trying to say. do you have to be an ass and point out his little mistakes as if your shit smells like roses? get a life Ass!

  • when drilling your platoon you must stand a little further back in order for the whole platoon to hear your commands clearly!!! read the drill manual!!!

  • goddamn airplanes lol

  • OORRAHH MCRD San Deigo

3rd Bn Mike Co Plt 3262

  • If this house is in front of the PX then thats my old house. Squad bay c3.

  • i was told by my friend who recently graduated that during first phase, boots still need to be broken in so they have a limited number of hours per day that they can wear boots

  • No guidon since those are nasty reception recruits who havent earned the right to have a guidon yet.

  • are you retarded? they're doing rifle manual...you don't start doing rifle manual until the end of first phase.

  • if you look really close you will see that they have canteens in their hands, NOT RIFLES and that they are wearing gofasters(sneakers) and not boots and not a single on of them has their boots bloused. And let met me see, WHEN I WENT TO BOOT CAMP MCRD SD CHARLIE CO PLT 1082 WE RECIEVED OUR GUIDON AS SOON AS WE PICKED UP WITH OUR PLATOON AFTER RECEPTION AND TOOK IT EVERYWHERE!!!!

  • where is the guidon?
