stop bitching that its the same as basketcase! greenday stole the I, V, VI, III, IV, I, IV, V chord progression from johan pachelbel's "canon in d" which was written at least 300 years before basketcase, and mozart and haydn used it too, infact it is a very common progression called a plagal sequence as it uses a series of plagal cadences (most commonly seen at the end of christian pieces where the word "amen" is sung over it)
