This isn't autotune, it's production that tweaks their voices. Autotune has been around only since the late 90s, but music production has been here forever, it's just better now than before.

@EtherealEmbrace Production doesn't tweak voices. Production more deals with the arrangement and elements within a song. Their voices are tuned. Greater than 90% of major albums that are released have tuned vocals. It may not be auto tune, but the vocals are tuned. The way that vocals are tuned most often is just more realistic sounding nowadays. Melodyne is amazing at tuning vocals with very little artifacts (a.k.a. they don't sound like t-pain, lol)

They definitely are :) Even the choice of how to use a tool like auto tune would fall into production, whether they don't use it, use it "naturally", or have it sound completely auto tuned. I apologize if came across as some sort of know-it-all. It's just that music production and engineering is a huge part of my life, and I'm a tad particular about small details. Have a good one.
