NBA don't play well defensively. Raptors allowed nearly 100 points. Even though Žalgiris was an offensive team then, they shouldn't have allowed this. Europeans play slower offensive, they can't run as fast as players form USA, so they shouldn't score as many points as NBA teams which average somewhat 100 PPG. Euroleague is the same or even better in terms of defence

Yeah, maybe Euroleague teams are more likely to lose against NBA, but talking about the "best" is pretty much waste of time. "Best" varies from everyone's point of view. Face it, NBA is based on individual player actions, there loads of rules to reduce teamwork, make defence harder. Why? Because it sells good. It's just a question what do you prefer: show, or sport? Sadly, it seems, that Euroleague is going to be converted into such money making machine, like NBA is, eventually. :/

I'm not saying the style of play or rules are the best, I am saying that the talent level in the NBA is the best. And you are right about Euroleague becoming more show, that is because sooner or later the NBA will come to Europe and Euroleague needs to compete. I've seen clips of Euroleague games and some have very small crowds. I've even seen clips of games that are played in what looks like high school courts.
