That is the sound of RESTRICTION. The surface area is far smaller than the oversized paper filter that supplies more filtered air than the engine can use at full RPM. The result is your filter is 10 times smaller, has massive holes, doesn't filter to required standard as with a paper filter, blocks up faster, degrades performance and you can hear how badly the intake is being restricted. Allowind dirt in ruins the engine. You reduced BHP, learn about gasflow & filtration, noise IS NOT power!!!
