My guess is that she died. You don't see her in the last episode when Zuko asks where she is. And, I know this is kinda weird....but I think Azula had something to do with it. In "Zuko Alone" Azula was awake when Zuko woke-up and was searching for his mom. Really...I don't think she was banished.

I think we have a right to know and they should have just told us since that was the series finale but apparently the secret will be revealed in The Last Airbender live action movies at some point which I'm really syked about. Yeah the comics should be awesome! It's called The Lost Adventures and it picks up where the series left off so Ursa should definitely be included. I wasn't too fond of the movie either but I got some enjoyment out of it (also there was a hint of Zutara which I appreciated, no ship bashing please) and I just really didn't want it to be another Eragon or Golden Compass, the first in what was supposed to be a trilogy of movies that never got made. I would have supported a sequel just for that.
@kemokage Yeah, the A:TLA does deserve a lot better than the whole ill-fated trilogy thing. Personally, I think that Avatar just works better animated and not live-action though. Can't wait for the comics to come out! (And kudos to M. Night on the Zutara thing)

@Lunawolf3712 A new series based off of A:TLA is going to air around the time of Nov. 2011 or early 2012. It will be a mini series called Avatar: The Legend of Korra and takes place 70 years after Sozin's Comet. Also, a new comic is coming out called "The lost Adventures" or somthing like that, I can't quite remember, that is about the Gaang and what takes place after the war and how they help with the aftermath. Hopefully some questions will be answered in the new series or in the comic book.
@danny060902 Sadly, it'll air in mid-2012. I'm actually looking forward more to the comics than the series, which will probably change when we get to see an actual trailer with Korra. (The next SDCC isn't that far away; but who knows when the animation will be finished?)

Unfortunately, they've made it clear that "The Last Airbender" story-arch is finished. But, they've hinted that they're working on other stories in the Avatar universe, which offers a glimmer of hope. It'd be hard to live up to "The Last Airbender", but as long as they continue to pour their hearts and talent into it, another masterpiece may grace us someday.

the ending is as cool as this trailer. Theres a lesson to be learned from avatar. When you put effort into a trailer make sure it lives up to the trailer.

The best part had to be watching Azula's deep rooted lonely decent into madness. That was just so well done! Especially when she finally snaps at the end and cries.

thats not the end they still have to do Air. They have done all the books except that. Plau they left the end of the last episode when zuko asked his dad where his mom was. If that is the end im very disapointed cause they needed to clear up more stuff in the end like what happened to azula?

They're not gonna make a fourth book called 'air' because Aang already has that mastered.
I did hear that they were going to make little mini episodes after, to show their lives after the war, though. Not sure if that was true.

Nobody can do it right. Things like this should be left untouched. No LA Movie, Hollywood should stay away from this. Right now they are targeting every form of Media out there. Anime, Comics, Novels/Book Series, Cartoons, Video Games. They should just stop with this crap already.

yeah, i wasn't gonna watch their avatar movie anyway for that reason. it's perfect just like it is. the only live action movie that SHOULD exist is Death Note. that thing kicks ass..
but i don't like the Corporate 'white-washing', anyway. when i was little, kid's shows had LOTS of races in them! now, just LOOK at 'CW' in the mornings.. well, they've recently had a merger, but before that, NOTHING but shows about white people! THIS after canceling Jakie Chan Adventures.

Im sorry but i think that Death note Movie will be butchered as well. There have been talks about Zack Effron being Kira(Light) I really don't want it to be a damn Musical. As for the Dragonball Movie. No matter how bad it looks, Im still watching it because I still am a Dragonball fan and followed the show back when it first aired. I just hope it is not that bad. *sigh*

Since the Dragonball movie isn't even really based on the show I would say that it's going to be pretty bad. Also there was already a Japanese live action movie of Death Note made and it was good I don't want the US to then make their own live action movie.

the ending is as cool as this trailer. Theres a lesson to be learned from avatar. When you put effort into a trailer make sure it lives up to the trailer.

If you have a computer, download it on Limewire. Yeah, yeah, it has viruses... avoid the fake looking choices and you wont get viruses. (for EX. Avatar the last airbender.avi = 36kb FAKE .... Avatar the Last Airbender, Book Four, The Comet (or whatever) = 350Mb REAL)
And the series is over now. I doubt Nick will show it on a schedule like you are anticipating.
