First of all........before people bitch off at the mouth about Bob Kane, you need to read his autobiography.......it explains everything......and Bob Kane was behind the drawings as well, not just the stories......READ, PEOPLE, READ!
@Lottechoco Black Costume and rich guy with hideout in cave was in Zorro he gave credit although not details, Movie Character the Bat he mentioned, Divinci flying machine for wings he mentioned. He didn't mention The Phantom had shorts over pants and White eyed mask and used dog Devil (Batman's dog was Ace) to tack criminals also had gun early Batman used . So what did Bill Finger come up with when all these ideas were already in use.
For all the negative comments regarding Bob Kane, now you know where Batman gets the attitude from. (I wish they'd actually done some close-ups of the book's pages when Stan told them too.)
Bill Finger created the Batman we all know and love, without Bill Finger we would have gotten a lame ass red batman with a domino mask, his version of Batman wouldn't have lasted or even been popular.
@DubWii360 It's so disappointing how conceited Bob was. I read his autobiography (the one in the (video) and I felt like Bill should have been given more credit. Honestly, he should be labeled as co-creator. Stan Lee seems a bit more cool and humble, staying in touch with his fans by starring in movies based on characters he made fifty years ago. Bob was so defensive about Batman that I think it may have been do to the fact that he was in denial about Bill giving a greater contribution than him.
@DubWii360 He said Bob Kane and Bill Finger created the Joker so how did he not give him credit. He said Bill wanted to dress him as the Jester on the playing card, but they used it as his calling card insteads, a similar character appeared in Marvel's Dare Devil comic called the Jester. So maybe Hoyle should be given credit for creating the Joker and the Jester.
Bob Kane had a lot of balls to take so much credit and make so much shit up for his own gain, nothing but guano coming out of his mouth, the late great Bill Finger got the biggest raw deal in comics
Wow, that was so hard to watch, but like a train wreck I had to. Stan seemed so uncomfortable the whole time, having to teeter around any sensitive issue, Kane bringing them up like he was convincing anyone of their validity, Stan trying his hardest to stray off topic, just insult to injury with having him draw anything ... very sad.

The egocentricity in this room is enough to punch a hole through the fabric of space.

@DubWii360 Both Bill and Khan create the legendary Batman, Bill Finger was the illustrator mean while Robert was the one who writes the storys.

@joeottoson - I was talking about their "real" parents, their creators, in Spider-Man's case that's Stan Lee, and in Batman's case Bob Kane..
DemiathDoomhammer 8 months ago
@DemiathDoomhammer I know. I was just kidding. (Kinda silly of me to specify Batman alone since Peter's are usually dead as well.)
