@mrcooldude964 The Pagan religion I belong to believe than if a person die then they will go to a peaceful world not that different from the Christian idea of Heaven. There the soul will rest and reflect on it's past life until it chooses to be reborn, usually then as another human being to learn more life lessons. When the soul have reached perfection through many lives it will join with the Gods and become one with Them.

When Pagans do a ritual they will invite the presence of the energies and deities they worship. They can invite the Goddess, God, elements, spirits of there ancestors. All up to the Pagans working there ritual.

But that burden of proof does not lie with those who do not believe in the thing's existence, but with those who do. Of course it is ludicrous to assume nothing exists outside of our experience but it is equally ridiculous to assume that anything unobserved exists. To go into such specific details as religion does is just mind-boggling.

Yet, this same Holy Book gets it wrong from the start, the God Of Abraham clearly supports slavery and expects people to own human beings. Today we put what WE know of right and wrong ahead of what any book says. I believe slavery is wrong, I believe homosexual love is as beautiful as any, I believe no culture is more valid than another, I also believe in the 1st Amendment. So, yes I will only have teachers who match those beliefs

@Venefica82 no one is better then anyone else. we are all born with sin nature and with sin nature we cant enter heaven. no sin can enter heaven so we are all doomed. but jesus loved us so much he took our sin on him and died in our place so now we have a way back to heaven as god intented before, those who dont recieve jesus (who is the only way to heaven) have no one who died in there place for there sin and cant be saved, jesus is savior to all who come to him

The Gods I worship can be both kind and cruel, just like Nature itself, but at least They do not claim to be the only good in the world and then turn around and kill pepole who do not agree. The Mother might kill with an earthquake, but at least She is honest.

@mrcooldude964 The Pagan religion I belong to believe than if a person die then they will go to a peaceful world not that different from the Christian idea of Heaven. There the soul will rest and reflect on it's past life until it chooses to be reborn, usually then as another human being to learn more life lessons. When the soul have reached perfection through many lives it will join with the Gods and become one with Them.

@mrcooldude964 My personal belief however is that a person will have the afterlife they believe they will have, Christians will go to heaven or hell, Wiccans will go to the land of eternal summer, Buddhists will be reborn and so on. I think that a soul will end up in the afterlife that fit it best. I do not believe there is one truth, I believe there are many.

I believe it are written by human beings, some of these human beings might have been Divinely inspired and some it is quite evident where written by men seeking power over others. The Bible have allot of good sections and allot of good advice for living, but it is not the only truth. If you want to accept a book as God, for that is what you are doing, go ahead, I choose a different path.

Once there was only the One, a infinite being, then this being decided to create and the one made one female creature and one male, the Goddess and the God. The Gods mated and then the Goddess gave birth to the Earth and the basis for all life. The Gods have since then lovingly guided life, their children to evolve and grow. Now I can not prove this, but neither can you your belief, it is faith nothing more, nothing less.
