To see men and women run into a burning building, with complete disregard to their safety, but to save a stranger's life, it is unbelievable. Most people run out, they run in. We see heroes and heroines in these people, they see themselves as doing their job. This is the true definition of courage, valour, honour, and most of all, humitly. Thank you all firefighters. Thank you for saving our lives, our homes, and our friends and families. We cannot begin to thank you enough. God bless you all.
this is one of my most favorite movies, its about the closest that a movie can get to the real deal, i am a volunteer firefighter, and i had lost my dad last year to a firefighting accident, and i saw it happen, he took a corner, and went through the floor
i have so much respect for all firefighters my dad is a volunteer firefighter and he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer but he still went to all the calls he could go on even though he was so sick.... my cousin is a volunteer firefighter in the same department, and alot of other friends and family are. thanks to all the firefighters who risk their lives everyday to try and save ours.
Awesome music video!! Great movie and great song= awesome job!! You are all correct about the job. This is a tough job, but someone has to do it. No one can do it and expect to be a hero every time. Its done by heart! I love all my local firefighters!! I pray for them every day!!! Great job to all the firefighters out there, you all are great and we can't live without you!!
As a volunteer I do it cause I love it, not because I want to be a hero. When ever my tone goes off I have to be ready to respond. I could be in class, at home, at work, or even in the shower. Most of us vollys are on call 365d.-24/7h
As a Boston FF, I resepct all call FF and volunteers...they do not have to do it and they do not ask for any publicity. We are all in this together. We had a tragedy in '99 where we lost 6 firefighters and we heard trhere last transimissions. It is hard, till this day. But I want to thank all the voly FF dept's that helped us out. Without them, it woud have been worse. So thank you!!!!
Thanks for all the touching stories guys. I have many family members that are fireman and can get a feel of what its like from the stories they tell, As they say
" we dont do it to be heroes, but sometimes it just turns out that way"
this is a very sad movie. but its a great movie and its the closet you can get to what actuall firefighters do. alot of people think firefighters save people life just to become heros, but they actually do it because they love it. i have made a few fire runs in my life and i know how it really is. firefighters fight fires because they love it not because they want to be heros. they just happen to turn out as a hero once its all over. thank you too all firefighters.
This is by far the saddest movies I have ever seen. But it is also one of my favorites. I love everything about this movie, even though I am basically bawling right now!! I will everytime I see this movie and thats one of the many things I like about it, no matter how many times you have seen this movie, it still gets to you. It definatly gives me a whole new respect for firefighters knowing this happens in real life.
(I also love that courage quote too,the one that John T. says)
Thank you so much for this vid...there was just a huge fire in the news yesterday/today and a firefighter died, which was quite a big thing for where I live, and this movie was all I could think about--it was such a beautiful portrayal about the humble heroism of these guys.
its good maybe on some bits you can sound from the clip its self if you go on my channel and look for one of my videos called 300,starshiptroopers and halo.watch that and you will see what i mean

I agree with you, once you get your turnouts on, its hard to get them off, meaning once your a firefighter its hard to become anything else.
