From my understand and spl subwoofer normally comes with a soft suspension. The gap is tighter because its not made for a lot of cone travel. Daily driver subs may have a stiffer suspension while having more tolerance. I am still curious to see what type of numbers they produce. Maybe you should have went with the 1535d.

i agree with you, but I know that they didn't make the sub to be an sq woofer. I owned some of the lanzar max and I took them to a comp and came in second place to a guy with a couple of 18's. i wouldn't use them for anything else but they actually surprised me. Name doesn't always mean a win. It really tells how much you spent and if you don't do well then people wonder what you did wrong.

i agree with everthing ya said. and ya exactually but im just sating my opinion. from every subwoofer i had the lanzar had the softest suspension and i do not get sq subs never owned one. thats what i shouldve said from the begining

I feel you. Just some friendly conversation. I wanted to try the optidrives but I never got a chance. i did hear a lot of good things about them. The suspension on the subs I have owned had a soft suspension also but hell they were cheap and I had to resolder the leads plenty of times because they broke.
