@DTProductions188 Scary? How so? We were going pretty slow, so I wasn't terribly concerned about lines. Most likely wandered around the lane a little, but I don't think it was anything to write home about.
Hey! I use a white shoelace to hold my camera on too! It's actually held on a lot of other things over the years, cameras, fairings, brake levers, keys and more.
hooray! Finally someone gives me the vlogging recognition i deserve! In AR Billmaa just said i was a "special guest" and in ike's video, he just said i was a "guest" (didn't even say i was special :( ), but YOU, my friend, finally realize my moto vlogging awesomeness and for that, i thank you.
Stellar video Trin, totally stellar!! Firstly, I must also add that what Fud and Britex were saying about it really being all of you people just being there is what really made the trip, and you had said it as well, this is truth. Proper. I had the most fun I have had in a VERY long time that week, and really count the days till the next DG event, it is more then what I could ever expect and far exceeded my idea of a DG meetup. I love you all like my extended family, Ride your ride!
GREAT vid Trin ! I guess I get to look forward to some razzing about my scooter when I make it next year. That's OK. I got thick skin. Again, Great vid !
If you keep up like he did you won't get any. People in our group aren't the only ones who were looking at him like he's insane. You could see it on peoples faces.
Hahah, oh but we did. On our way back across the skyway about 5-6 of us turned on the afterburners with Britex leading. I was scared I was going to knee down on accident in jeans. We were SCREAMING through there. Was pretty scary tbh.
Hey now! The girls in the car behind kept up for as long as we could! lol I was pretty proud of myself! I could tell they were holding back though! lol
But judging by this vid, ur stuff seems good. I like ur 'matter of fact'/'no big deal' style of vlogging. Not too much ass-kissing or yammering on about stuff no one give a s*** about anyway :-o
Uh-oh, I think I've gone & done it again. I've hurt everyone's feelings without meaning to... doh! I have to relearn how to just stfu & watch the vids like I did b4 *hahaha* :-D
btw, ur comment about Larc0 doesn't surprise me at all. When I first saw him show up on someone's first meetup vid on the scooter wearing full leathers + boots + gloves + FF helmet, I knew that the guy meant bidness!! He didn't come to fool around at all... F that, he came to rip it up on da Dragon!! *hahaha* :-D
He was definitely not acting like most scooter riders with all the roadrace gear he had on :-)
Rite on Trinith!! Glad you had such an awesome time!! Sweet vid set-up you have going, made this vid that much more enjoyable! Would have loved to see Larc0 tearing it up on his T-Max when you were riding with him.
Well, you kind of will. If you remember the 15m video he posted a week or two back of his run on the dragon...I was vlogging with this same setup at the same time. You won't see much of him though.
Hey all those cameras and angles worked out really well. nice pip also. Thanks for the plugs. My Tiger is in storage and I had to come back to Aussieland. Should be in Texas by year end tho. And ditto to what Fud said abou the people.
I wasn't sure that one would stay, and it wasn't my camera. The shoelace was just a safety measure, just incase the suction cup couldn't hold up to the wind. It did admirably though.
All the difference. I rested Saturday and headed south on Sunday. With all the riding, I had no incentive to go out alone. Or even head over to Gatlinburg come to think of it.
You guys that were there made the trip what it was.
BTW, Trinith, our little conversation on Ontology or whatever you care to call it is something that I want to continue.
Gatlinburg is more social than anything. We went out and did a little light riding on saturday but nothing major. Thats mostly about hanging out and BSing with each other for the weekend
Nice video ..great comments ... some of your "riding lines" were scary .. but thanks for sharing!!! ☺

@Trinith So what is the UFO above you in the lower left video at about 1:00 minute into the ride video??

@SuperRadioDave That's what happens when you point a GoPro directly at the sun.

So this helmet is the fulmer modular? Sounds good!
MrBKBiker 2 years ago
Yeah, it's noisy as hell, but setting the camera up right negates all that.

You got all those angles perfect in my opinion. That takes a hell of an effort in editing later.
I'm glad you took the time to do that.
Ride safe Trin

45 minutes to get them all lined up and in synch. 5 minutes to get the PiP positioned right. :)

Nice video dude, the triple angle was kinda hard to look at first, but after I got used it..I thought it was pretty sweet =)

Yeah, takes a bit to get used to but once you do it's great. :)

Its good to know a fallen rider is okay. Awesome footage. I love seeing the trail of riders in front.

That was one of the reasons I rode in the back. More fun to watch people.

I noticed the bike throwing that Britex was doing in his vids.. that guy can really take a corner!
The vid is cool, I like seeing the different angles. It would have been cool to see you all just leave the girls in the car behind... :) lol

You know I only had the cameras on for 3 rides? I was having too much fun to care about vloggin. Shoulda done more.
Trinith 2 years ago
Riding comes first, vlogging takes a very distant second. I thought u knew that man, you've been in the game too long not to :-) *heheh*

I do know that. But the masses want more vids, and truth be told I have VERY little footage from the whole trip.

I'm surprized u actually captured video WR, I thought you'd more or less allowed motovlogging to become nothing more than a memory :-)
I didn't expect u to post vids, I was really surprised at that & now this comment leaves me even more surprised o_O

dctim 2 years ago
Both of them are just held on with the suction cups. I don't like the idea of permanently attaching things at this point.

Awesome. They stayed on then? What was the shoelace for?

You got some coverage of that ride!
I'll tell you what though. As cool as that place is with the roads and the riding, it is not half the fun without a group of people to share it with.
