  • hey do you have the finale music file... and also a bass part if you have it...

  • I must transpose to clainet!!

  • @BoydGuy333 if you do, could you send it to me? :D A friend and I are planning to do this as a duet, and she plays clarinet. It would be much appreciated!

  • I seem to think that the melodey isn't designed for trombone....

  • this is why trombones are important

  • Is this for baritone too?

  • can some one PLEASE give a link to a finale file, i dont have enough time anymore to enter it in

  • wooooo awesome

  • Can I playgerize this please??? :)

  • You don't have this piece of heaven in treble clef for Bb Instruments, do you ? :)

  • How can this be modified for two trumpets and two trombones? We'd really like to use this. I just don't think I could make those jumps.

  • Thanks man!!! you're the best, the BEST!!!

  • I have removed all of my comments regarding the high first trombone part. I hope this will encourage all of you to shut the hell up about me.

  • You know, it's really awesome but the third and fourth parts drown out the first two parts.

  • I think it would be better if the lower melody (like at 1:18) was played by the second player to give some variety to whose playing. Also, it give the first layer a break coz that is pretty damn high, and nearly constant.

Just a thought from a musician. It's a simple switch on the performers part. Kudos for writing it. It looks challenging, and I am looking forward to learning it.

  • can you send me a copy of this to waltervides39@yahoo.com i wanna play it for solo ensemble

  • The first trombone parts are fine I can play them and I'm in the 10th grade.

  • This is some very nice work! I'm going to enjoy playing this (or at least the 1st part). Some of those jumps will be good practice for my range too.

  • this is awesome! nice work!

  • @Patbad73 I try not to, but often it's a choice between high notes and changing the key signature. I think I'm getting better at making sure I can actually play my arrangements, but I haven't been very mindful of range in the past.

  • @tenorbrasswindplayer It's not THAT high, it's very playable...I just think that it you let a real tuba play that bass part, the short not will not come out...

  • @tenorbrasswindplayer change the octave? I'd love to play this but I can't play higher than high F (U know what i mean, the one 2 ledger lines above)

  • @Patbad73 This really isn't that high...

  • @Patbad73 its not that high...

  • @Patbad73 on a good day i can play an f 2 octaves above high f. i wasn't trying to be mean to you though lol, just saying from my perspective. yes there was a time where it was hard for me to hit a 4th line Bb.

  • @Nintendoman851 im sorry, but im calling bull on that one. one octave above high F (if you're referring to that as F above the staff) is defidently hard, but possible. on the other hand, the horn can't harmonically play notes above G 2 octaves above staff G, which even at that is debatable. In any case, the horn runs out of partials after F above high F, so the likelyhood of you hitting another octave above that, no matter how good you think you are, is impossible due to the make of the horn.

  • @RyanEarl802 high f i'm refering to as the one 2 and a half ledger lines above the staff. I promise you it's possible. Now you are right about the fact that it may not be very audible, or even considered a playable note, but i've hit that f before, and it is definately an f, i have perfect pitch. What do you mean it runs out of partials though? You can go as high as you want to on brass insturments..for the most part. I really am trying not to be a douche, but i've heard people hit higher than f

  • @Patbad73 high b natural isn't unfair unless you're a junior in high school or younger. orchestra 1st trombone parts go waaaay above that regularly

  • @Patbad73 the beautiful thing about music is that you can change keys and octaves at a whim. if it's too tough, take it down an octave. or better yet, practice so that you can play those notes. it's not a ridiculous concept i think

  • @Patbad73 I'm a lead trombone and that range isn't high for me at all. If you just practice long tones going up chromatically, then you'll be able to hit those notes.

  • @Patbad73 this isnt unfairly high, a really good player is to be able to hit a high C at any time in concert pitch. A high D isn't uncommon. And my solo in high school had a double high F...thos are high notes...an A flat is not unfairly high.

  • @nikap64 It depends on how you approach playing high. If you consider a high note to be whenever you begin straining, then you are likely not going to expand beyond that point. Unless, you begin playing with as little strain as possible. I can reach a triple high f without straining. Just keep working.

  • @Patbad73 Have an Alto bone play it.

  • hey man would you be able to email me the finale file of this? i wanna arrange it for a brass quintet =P

  • Bass trombone mouthpiece is too big for 1st Trombone. The rest i can do fairly well...

  • i need 3 friends who play trombone...

  • @TigreOkage2080 I will be your friend! lol

  • @TigreOkage2080 does baritone count :3

  • @TigreOkage2080 Bass Trombonist right here.

  • f***ing amazing

    * i wrote it down for jazz band and its missing a bass part. can i borrow yours?

  • @ABoredPerson1112 absolutely

  • @tenorbrasswindplayer thanx SO MUCH!!!

  • those ledger lines scare me dude

  • what did you use to make this?

  • @ProdigyStepper Finale Printmusic

  • The 4th line written an octave lower would sound good on the tuba.

  • @mrjohndeere31760 read it an octave or two down instead?

  • wow this stuff is amzing now time to find trombone buddies

  • dude i love you, your freekin amazing and putting pdfs of 1st 2nd etc..is a life savorr. thaank you. all your peices are amazing

  • It's an epic arrangement of an epic song, but I hope your first trombone ate his wheaties.

  • @Magzillas I also just realized that the bass part is written an octave higher than what is actually being played, so I hope your bass trombonist has a third lung.

  • @Magzillas dont worry, i do ; )

  • Definitely my favorite song from that game, nice work! :)
