Think only tip for dub anime is to use normal everyday voices instead of trying to match the Japanese ones. They just sound weird in comparison. Love Funimation and how they post the sub version its great that an anime company decides to post the Japanese dub instead of removing it all over the internet and then not posting their own.

Most dubs are awful. There are good ones though, don't diss the entirety of dubbing. Fullmetal Alchemist had an excellent dub. So did Tsubasa Chronicle, the original Pokemon cast, Case Closed, DBZ (come on, for what they anime was they sure did a good job capturing it), just about anything done by Funimation. Fooly Cooly had a great dub too. Death Note also had a good dub. Look, there have a been a lot of good dubs okay. A lot of crappy ones too, but lost of good ones.
