Actually.. in technical terms yes it does, it forces the game settings for xbox on highest, well at least the highest your equipment that you linked to your xbox can handle. So actually... it kinda does, most people, unlike me, probably dont use good equipment with their xbox. I have HD Skyrim :)

Skyrim uses a completely new engine and is a VAST improvement over Oblivion. Your friend must have seen a trailer with horrible quality. Just look up gameplay and see for yourself.

@Verithiell actually, when i saw the trailers and videos prior to the realese of skyrim, it looks crap, not excactly 2011 standards, but when i played it, it is very overwhelming. It just drags u in to the world. Ofcourse its not crysis, uncharted or witcher 2 standards, but its pretty damn close. And considering the size of the entire world, it is a beast of a game :)

But I will say that the PS3 does not suck, the games graphics arent that good because it was made back in 2008. But just a year later you see Uncharted 2 and it looks INCREDIBLE! Even Killzone 2 looked amazing. Skyrim will look a 100x better then this on the PS3, Oblivion looked the same on the xbox.

and oblivion is great game :) i think i like it even more than any other rpg game. i like when my characters skills gets better the more i do things like jumping improves my athletics and conjure spells improve my conjure skill etc. etc. its like leveling is part of the game all the time. when many games you gain experience from monsters and gain levels and only each level your characters gets better. i like more oblivion style.
