I think I know which field they found the kitten in. The road is closed down near there because a bridge is out, so there is very little traffic. I'm so glad those wonderful kids were riding there bikes there and found him.
I've been hearing about this cat all over the internet. I hope he makes it, he is adorable. I also hope they raise all the money needed to cover the treatment.
