Dude, I love the "tings", don't know if it's glockenspiel or bells or what, but it's cool. The verse is my favorite part.

yeah, to differentiate and build this verse, I added the hand claps to the 2nd half (per the lyrics) and doubled the vocal melody with the bells. The playing is very rough - I was trying to beat the previous deadline - but the idea works. :)

The sound of the snare is insane. How'd you do the drumz?

v-drums. but the key is to still treat them (eq and compression) like real recorded drums. this make them sound more like the real ones we are used to hearing on cds. the second important thing is a good room reverb.
