  • @Giuseppetiberi

    1980 JMP 2104 2x12 combo.

  • what do you use movie edit?

  • great playing! bet it sounds even better on your end :)

  • What do you mean when you said it is not a good sounding guitar ?? For me it seems to be lacking bass response exactly like mine. Am I right ?

  • what tone cap on that guitar?

  • @beeeastmaster

sorry I'm not quite sure what are in this guitar. Its been disassembled now, the pickups are in another guitar and the neck on another body.

  • what tone caps in that guitar?

  • are they pretty hot? have the fender 57/62 in a 62 but they are not that high output like 5.6 k

  • wow! fantastic!

  • what's the cost of those bad boyz

  • Do you feel like the blues brought your strat to life? I have a 1960 Relic that sounds dark and not that bitey. I'm wondering if diff. pickups might help.

  • @dparel I think these are among the best old sounding pickups you can find, this guitar I have is not particularly good sounding, but people loved the sound with these pickups, in fact I've now put them in another strat, and they do make a significant difference, I recommend them.

  • @dparel Try a 500K volume pot with the VZ blues set. Makes them sound even better.

  • How much did the pickups costs

  • @559wacko I'm not sure, I bought the guitar like this, sorry.

  • @ekul785 this guitar is great but I don't use it very much at all, its in a case under my bed.

  • I've been watching a lot of videos to see which pickups I want to put in my strat...the Van Zants sound GREAT

  • @MarshallAmpsRule yes I really like them, they sound like an old strat should.

  • Hi really really nice. Van Zandt vs Suhr FL's? What do you preference? and different between both? sorry my bad english thanks and Cheers¡¡¡

  • @gilbglam470

Hello... both Suhrs and Van Zandts are great pickups... but if I had to choose I'd go with Van Zandts.... they have more of that classic old Stratocaster tone that I love... the Suhrs are more modern sounding.

  • glass of Merlot, anyone"??

  • orgasmic

  • awesome sound awesome playing

  • hey man do these pickups work good with overdrive to play classic rock too? I think I'm going to replace the pickups in my 50's reissu mexican stratocaster because I just realy love this guitar but would love to improve the sound a little by new pickups.. I play classic rock, blues and (neo)classical music and I want a vintage sound... pending between the True vintage pickups, blues pickups or rock pickups.. I usually play at crunch channel with gain at 5

  • yes I think these pickups are great, very fat sounding with overdrive and not with a super glassy top end... but clean they give a very fat strat sound, very SRV like to my ears..

  • Hello, congratulations for your videos and your great gear. I wish I had so many good guitars!

Can you tell me about the bridge pickup on this one? Is it a Wilkinson bridge?

    Thanks

  • hey there..

thanks, the bridge pickup was a Seymour Duncan 59, its now been replaced with a Tyler Studebaker, much better..

the trem is a Wilkinson VS100.. its a great guitar that sadly dosen't get used very often..

  • Thanks for your answer!

Yes, it seems to be a great guitar.

Unfortunately, we don't have always the time to play guitar as much as we want...

But the most important thing is to enjoy it when we play, isn't it?

  • waaaw

  • It's really got "that" tone! Sounds great Gerry!

  • what kind of cramra do u have is it a kodak m863
