  • @Bakuneon - Yes. Diesel / Electric Hybrid.

  • Does translink have any 100% Hybrid buses atm?

  • Shes sounds smooth like a feather

  • Nice, quiet bus. What are the seats like in it? They look very uncomfortable compared to the seats in the New Flyer D40LF

  • Not too bad, but yeah not as comfortable as the Vancouver D40LF's.

  • Never been on a Vancouver D40LF. I am imagining they are very similar to the ones in Victoria, am I right?

  • Yes they are actually. Check out my video of the 1991 D40LF from Victoria with the

    6V92TA engine and Voith Transmission

  • Just watched it. Does look very familiar to the D40LF's in Victoria. They seem to be the most commonly used buses as well. In the mornings I see more of the Alexander Dennis Trident double-deckers though.

  • I agree, a very tidy quiet bus and I am used to UK buses. The seats are USSC 4One "Aries" - best selling passenger seat in North America!
