As utterly horrendous as the special effects and sub-Ed Wood model work are, I have to admit there is a certain "coolness" to some of the visuals that is kind of hard to define.

Weasels ripped my flesh is a Frank Zappa album I don't know if he made a movie from it but it definitely not a movie your friend made or else he'll get in trouble because of trademark infringement laws if he's not careful or doesn't have a good lawyer. Or he's just a kid like me.
All of the music in his films are public domain, and most all of it is music that appeared in other films, such as Horror of Party Beach. We had to replace a bunch of sections that were clear copyright violations before these DVDs could be released. But the original prints had music lifted DIRECTLY from other movies, including the sound effects etc!
Believe it or not, I'm the guy who digitally reconstructed all of Nathan Schiff's films from the only prints he had, which were the original super 8 edited reels, for the Image DVD releases. There was a long article about it in Uncut magazine. It was kind of a thankless task, and this was the hardest because it originally ran at 18fps. I did "Vermillion Eyes" too, but Image rejected it over "disturbing content." hahahahahahaha

i think "they don't cut the grass anymore" is better...but this movie is so fantastic, too. i love the shark in this flick (you remember?)
