There is a clearer shot of the bomb hitting the planes wing and folding it in a downward motion. Only one problem though, that clip is also only about three seconds, but a hell of a lot clearer. If you have the military channel, they usually show this as the part of the U.S. Army's 8th Air Force.
@hetmanbasza Correct! If it had been a bomb expoding, even if just a 250lb'er, the wing wouldn't just 'fold' back, the plane would have been blown apart. If it had been a bomb hitting it (while still in the unarmed stage), it wouldn't have caused such an instant explosion, so it was definately a flak hit.
The clip is incomplete...it was actually the victim of "friendly fire" (it was struck by bombs from another plane; the plane you see was out of formation during a bomb run and was struck by bombs being dropped by another B-17)...if you look closely you can see them falling around the action.
Munkfish is correct, I mistyped...shape of the nose and length to the top turret clearly denote that the poor sucker is driving a B-24 Liberator. Thx for the correction.
This video was taken in The Phillipines.

Nope!
Falling bombs are from another Liberator but what hits this one looks like flak.
I don't want to speculate on "it is an 88" but definetely main spar went bye, bye.
Chances are, if it was 250lb bomb expoding in front of this camera guy, we would not see this footage.
Either way, if anyone knows, did a miracle happened and any of the guys made out of this one?
