It sounds to me like he had a fairly standard reaction to anesthesia. Lots of people have horrible dreams and hallucinations following surgery. There isn't anything the medical staff can do about it, and patients do sometimes think the nurses are "out to get them." Still, having opiate intoxication is way better than physical pain. My guess is somebody explained this to him, but he'd rather think of himself a a martyr.

Mainstream news has become more about "entertainment" than on actual News. All the News Broadcasts just want more viewers and will do anything for them. Also Beck is an entertainer first. He's trying to get money the people who aren't checking the facts are the dummies. And its true for all Mainstream News Broadcasts in America. The true point of health care is to prevent those circumstances that bring the need to undergo those procedures in the first place...prevention. I mean, if it's so late that you must have surgery and pain medicine, go ahead - I'm with you. But again, the point of health care is or at least should be; prevention - not taking pain medicine.
